Lucas is a Sydney-based director and editor creating commercial, broadcast and branded content, with a focus on performance-driven storytelling and authentic, human-centred work.

He got his first break producing and directing extra features for the Australian Idol DVD series, before going on to direct Australia's first made-for-mobile series, Now on Planet 3, for Hutchison Telecommunications.

Lucas has since collaborated with major broadcasters including Disney, the ABC and SBS, as well as numerous leading ad agencies, delivering work across a wide range of formats.

As a director, he has built a reputation for working comfortably with real people — from CEOs and athletes to kids — drawing out authentic performances in high-pressure environments. His easygoing approach creates a relaxed, collaborative energy on set that carries through to the final product.

Alongside directing, Lucas is a highly proficient editor, working primarily in DaVinci Resolve, with extensive experience across the Adobe suite. This dual perspective allows him to shape projects with a strong sense of story from shoot through to final delivery.
